Josh is TEC’s director of knowledge services. He’s responsible for the groups developing, managing, writing, translating, and publishing TEC research (including knowledge bases and related content). In addition, Josh writes on enterprise software subjects and enjoys a particular concern for the free and open source software (FOSS) space. He graduated with a degree in philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley (US).

David is TEC’s managing editor. With over 10 years of experience as a writer, translator, and editor, his current focus is on best practices in enterprise software selection. Prior to joining TEC, David worked at the Canadian Space Agency. He has also worked as a production manager and stage manager in the live performance industry, and as an apprentice in a saxophone repair and restoration workshop.

He is an equal opportunity analyst (EOA)—one of the first to pay due attention to the little guys that tend to be overlooked by the big analyst houses. P.J. is a proponent of “separation of church and state” (both in society and in the analyst world) and is committed to writing equally “tough but fair” analyses about all vendors and solutions, whether they are TEC clients or not.
