Gabriel Gheorghiu - posts
As a teenager, Gabriel discovered the wonderful world of science fiction, with its robots and galactic empires. A few years later, when he had his first computer, he was fascinated by the amazing things a “plastic box” can do. When the time came for him to choose a career, it was inevitably related to computers—and since he was very interested in business and management, working with IT systems was the natural choice. Follow Gabriel on Twitter or LinkedIn.

Jamal Rahal - posts
Jamal is a technical writer who’s currently trying to wrap his head around the enterprise software market. He enjoys (gently) poking fun at the way software companies write about their products on the Web.

Jorge García - posts
Jorge is TEC’s BI research analyst, and a fan of soccer, reading, and rock and roll. He also enjoys Mexican tacos, mole, and pozole. With 14 years of experience in applications development and BI, he’s always interested in learning something new from IT and life. Follow Jorge on Twitter.

Josh Chalifour - posts
Josh is TEC’s director of knowledge services. He’s responsible for the focus, development, and publication strategy of Technology Evaluation Center’s (TEC) research content. In addition, Josh writes on enterprise software subjects and enjoys a particular concern for emerging Internet currents, information management and collaboration, and free/libre and open source software. He graduated with a degree in philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley (US). Follow Josh on Google Plus, Twitter, or LinkedIn.

Larry Blitz - posts
Larry is TEC’s promotion copywriter—and yes, that really is his last name. Larry brings his knowledge of advertising, business communications, IT, and the all-around foibles of human nature to bear on TEC’s daily newsletters, e-mail campaigns, and Vendor Showdowns.

Lynne Brash - posts
Lynne works with our analyst services team, and contributes random zeitgeist observations on the unexpected parallels between the software business and pop culture. Perez Hilton, you’ve been warned.

Philippe Reney - posts
As TEC’s SCM research analyst and a fervent believer in the unembellished truth, Phil is looking to share his candid perspectives on the corporate world and its practices. He enjoys challenging conventional wisdom and digging up the dirt on trendy business topics—but balances these with a concern for the big picture as well as operational sustainability.

P.J. Jakovljevic - posts
Besides being a rookie father and a Starbucks addict (the two may or may not be related), P.J. is a TEC veteran and an APICS buff. He is an equal opportunity analyst (EOA)—one of the first to pay due attention to the little guys that tend to be overlooked by the big analyst houses. P.J. is a proponent of “separation of church and state” (both in society and in the analyst world) and is committed to writing equally “tough but fair” analyses about all vendors and solutions, whether they are TEC clients or not. Follow PJ on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Facebook.

Rahim Kaba - posts
Rahim is TEC’s product manager and internal champion for all things TEC. Prior to joining TEC, he worked in various product management and marketing roles at multimedia, high-tech, and software companies in Toronto and Montreal. Sporting a degree in Science and Business (yes, it apparently exists), Rahim is pursuing an MBA on a part-time basis. Follow Rahim on LinkedIn.

Roy Semple - posts
An auto enthusiast (freak) with an affection for muscle cars and classics, Roy is head of TEC’s busy Internet marketing group. His 30 years of experience in marketing and sales, mostly in enterprise software and related services, come in handy helping TEC’s clients and internal departments meet their objectives. Enriched by family life, Roy contends that his analytical skills took a quantum leap with his efforts to follow the thoughts and migratory patterns of his two children, now 12 and 16.

Sherry Fox - posts
Sherry is not only TEC’s research analyst in the area of human capital management, she is also its resident “rock star.” When she’s not working (conducting vendor briefings and certifications, or researching the latest in software technology), she’s writing music, raising two wonderful boys, and learning everything there is to know about the art of “living Zen.” Follow Sherry on Twitter or LinkedIn.
