Infor has announced the general availability of its Customer Interaction Hub. The solution—built specifically for financial services and telecommunications industries—provides Infor CRM Epiphany Suite users with an organized structure for storing and making visible customer interactions. As part of Infor’s effort to enhance customer experience, the hub displays all client interactions to ensure adequate customer dialogues. Infor’s initiative underlines that they do not intend to neglect their Infor CRM Epiphany Suite in favor of its Saleforce app, Inforce Suite.

British American Tobacco (BAT) has a 10-year working relationship with Apriso, during which time the flexibility, scope of capabilities, and depth of Apriso’s solutions have been realized first hand at six international manufacturing sites. BAT has elected to standardize its operations on Apriso FlexNet, a manufacturing execution system (MES) software solution. At Oracle Open World in San Francisco, Oracle launched PeopleSoft Mobile Expenses, PeopleSoft Mobile Approvals, and  PeopleSoft Mobile Company Directory. As a result, users will have the option to access important business information, processes, and analytics in real time. The three PeopleSoft mobile apps employ HTML5 and CSS3 technologies, which implies relatively low costs for deployment and maintenance. Oracle also announced that the applications are available with the latest version of PeopleSoft (9.1) and that current customers will not have to incur any additional costs for any of the three mobile apps.
