One year after Infor and Orbis Global teamed up, Infor acquires Orbis Global. Orbis Global started out in Australia and later moved to San Francisco where its headquarters are presently situated. In November 2011 Infor announced a strategic partnership with Orbis Global to enhance its Epiphany customer relationship management (CRM) suite by integrating Orbis Global’s SaaS marketing resource management (MRM) solution.
Infor Epiphany suite aims to become a competitive tool not only for sales and customer reps but also for marketers. Mr. George Wright, senior vice president and general manager of Epiphany, explains, “Infor Epiphany will become an even more efficient marketing solution with the integrated best-in-class MRM functionality from Orbis Global, enabling fast and informed decision making across all programs and channels.”
Further, Mr. Wright underlined that Infor intends to take advantage of MRM’s customer experience management capabilities and improve the Infor Customer Interaction Hub.
