iCIMS and SkillSurvey announced their partnership yesterday. iCIMS aims to advance its talent acquisition solution by offering its clients access to the behavioral, Web-based reference-checking software developed SkillSurvey. SkillSurvey’s Pre-Hire 360 is a tool set containing over 270 online, behaviorally based surveys that unveil a picture of a candidate based on the candidate’s references. The information is securely collected from managers, peers, subordinates, and business partners who are released from legal liability.

Talent acquisition is obviously in acute need of adequate measurement tools that allow for a deeper evaluation of candidates. In 2013 I expect more talent assessment tools to invade the HCM market and smooth the recruitment process for companies that are intensely competing for talent.
